Lewis's Story
Joined Army in 1975. Served in Alaska for two years with Gen Norman Schwartzkopf as first brigade commander, during which time cross trained with Canadian Army and earned Canadian Jump wings. After which, transferred to Louisiana for one year before release from active duty. Moved back to Millville for three years and worked a Wheatons for year and half, the back on active duty with National Guard as supply Sgt. here. Earned a degree in Law Enforcement and then worked as a carpenter 20 year. After which, worked in variety of jobs. In 1987, Started ballroom dancing as hobby and competed for the next 15 years, going to many regional events and one national event held in the Bahamas. Retired from Ohio National Guard April 14, 1997. Joined the American Legion in 2009, elected as Adjutant in 2010, where I continue today. Sounds dull, but would never trade for anything else.
