Lewis's Story
I graduated from Penn Law in 1972, spent two years as a public defender then started my own practice. Two years later I realized I couldn't spend my life wondering if my client would go to prison and the end of each day. Went to work for a high tech start up and ended up staying 10 years. Over the years I've been married and divorced twice, raised three children, traveled to 37 countries (including hiking across Kenya, riding a camel across the Sahara, and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef), wrote a book, had several poems published and became the worst jazz saxophone player in the Western Hemisphere.
