Lia's Story

Life After high school, I went to Cornell University and graduated from there in 1976. In 1977 I drove my VW bug to Palo Alto California where I have lived ever since. Wow, I have now lived in California for 30 years! I guess I must like it here. I have done the usual Silicon Valley thing: worked at high-tech companies, gone to Stanford, and worked at more high-tech companies. maybe we'll run into each other under the sea. Only if it's tropical water, though; I'm what they call a warm-water wimp! In 2002 I got married to David, my mate of 20-some years. We dive together and routinely hit the Shakespeare festival in Oregon, where we visit Bill, who's living up there now. Sharkespeare and Bill -- is that a combination that surprises anyone? Currently I work at Google, and it's every bit as wacky and fun and high energy as you might have heard. I'd love to hear from old high school pals!
