it was that simple in real life, when were together it's just like a fantasy world that we try our hardest to grasp onto but instead it seems like were walking on an ice covered lake in April, with every step we take. Another crack appears and soon it's going to shatter, and we'll fall through. We'll be trapped in the ice cold water, drowning. We give everything we can but something i pulling us down, grabbing our feet taking us into the deepest and darkest parts of the lake. We soon stop fighting it. we let it take us, giving up on all hope. The life seeps from our faces. I look over at you knowing it one last time knowing it well be the last time I see you. As my vision starts to blur I see a bright light coming from the surface, I reach for your hand, but you body gets pulled to the surface as mine sinks further down. You go back to your life you had, dry and warm and i go back to mine, cold, limp and lifeless. Everything was worth dying for, knowing i had that short time with you, just wishing I had more time with you.....the rest of my life with you. I don't know if I could give you everything you want and need but I know I'd try. I love you and want to be with you and I wish that was enough. But I know its not.
