Lianne's Story
I have lived in Victoria, Tx since the summer of '75. Got married in '79 to a guy that I went to school with in Tx. We lived in Norfok, Virginia twice & Jacksonville, Fl. once. Divorced in '89 and still single.
I have 1 daughter & (for now) 1 granddaughter age 3 1/2. In the spring we will be blessed with twins. Right now we don't know what "versions" we're getting but Kaeli says she's getting a brother & a sister.
I'm the Office Manager/bookkeeper for a small fabrication/welding company. I enjoy reading, dancing & playing with my granddaughter.
I loved living in Smyrna & have missed the friends I made there. I hope that those of you that remember me will drop me a line. My favorite teacher at SHS was Mr. Shoupe. He always made history interesting.
I like to watch WWE wrestling & Texas A&M football. My family however refuses to watch either with me cause I tend to get to, uh, loud, noisy. When I first moved out to where I am now, I was watching football one Saturday & was being extremely vocal & pounding on the f...Expand for more
loor. My daughter had gone next door to play with their kids & when they heard the noise they thought something was wrong. My child told them no she's just watching football & she gets that way so I leave the house.
I have been involved in many volunteer activities over the years. I headed up the volunteers for a local restaurant for about 4 yrs that prepared food on Thanksgiving for those that had no where to go or didn't have the means. I also was part of the transition team when the school board decided to consolidate the 2 high schools in Victoria. While on the team, a fellow member & I organized a day's event to introduce parents, students & the community to the various extracurricular activities offered at the high school.
I also believe very strongly in exercising my right to vote. I have been on the advisement team of a good friend whose in his reelection campaign for county commissioner.
Over the years I have also been very involved in my church. My faith is very important to me & being able to share God's love.
