Life
I married Bill Bowers (class of '70) right after high school. We're still married; and they said it wouldn't last! I never quite got the hang of the career thing because Bill's job moved us every few years. We left Irving in 1978 and moved to Austin, then Germany, Austin, Chicago, Alabama, Beijing China, Singapore, Chicago and Rock Island IL. early 15 years. We've "retired" to Spring Branch, near Canyon Lake, between Austin and San Antonio. I have three grown kids: Laura, 30, who moved back to Texas after high school and stayed, Rachael, 29, who moved back to Chicago after high school and stayed, and Brian, 25, who is in grad school in Phoenix. He went to high school in China, so he's very confused about where to call home. That's pretty much my world.
