Libby's Story
Life
In October, 2007, I started a postdoctoral research fellowship position at the University of Oxford (Oxford, England) studying Molecular Phylogenetics/Evolution.
Before that, I was a perpetual student and traveler for quite some time - B.S. degree in Biology from Seattle University (Seattle, WA); M.S. degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology from East Carolina University (Greenville, NC); and Ph.D. degree in Molecular Genetics/Dev...Expand for more
elopmental Evolution from the University of Reading (Reading, England). After living in England for 5.5 years earning my doctorate, I returned to the U.S. (Greensboro, NC) for a few years to teach Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/Microbiology within the University of North Carolina system.
Now I'm back in England, which has become my second home, and loving it. Oxford is incredible! It's too bad the weather isn't better though!
