Lidia's Story
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Glenda Tapilla, because she was my best friend in first grade. The biggest surprise in my life, is that I had children and that they were worth giving up some of my dreams for.
If I won a $100 million dollars, I'd give half of it to charity and spend the rest on making the rest of my dreams come true. The best years of my life were the college years. U.O.P. was the perfect place for me and I met the best people. South West Hall was the best place to live. I'll always remember Band Frolic and the Home Coming Games. I always did like doing things a little different. My oldest friend that I still see from time to time is Veronica Rios (Gutierrez). We met in 6th grade and I guess we hit it off because we were both soft spoken and not very out going. How we have grown since then. I remember in high school wanting to be an actress, well I did pursue it but not to its full extent because I got married. I did do a few shows mostly on the moat at Apple Gate Park and I was in a Promo and a movie with Denise Quaid. This was back before he did Jaws 3D and became a big star and he was a lot better looking back then. Currently, I work for Merced Union High School District and Weaver District. I am also involved in real estate investment.
