Lillian's Story
Life
Joined USAF right after graduation. Retired 1 Dec 2002, after 24 years. Lived in North Dakota, Guam, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and lastly Okinawa Japan. Last job in the AF: airborne computer tech on AWACS E-3 aircraft, which took me all over...Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Panama, Australia, and Korea. I'm a divorced, single parent of 3 (2 grown-up and 1 16 year old), and 4 cats and a dog. Still feel like I'm 20...and cant seem to figure out what the heck happened to the last (fast) 20 years!?! I'm not nearly as shy as I was in high school, so life is infinitely more enjoyable now. My "now" picture was taken aro...Expand for more

School
Went to 10 different schools grades 1 - 12. I didn't mind so much.
College
While I received my AA degree from CCAF at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, I actually attended different colleges during my time in the Air Force, and had the transcripts sent to CCAF (all classwork is accomplished this way.) All my classes were done over a period of years since I was working full time as an Active Duty member of the AF.
Workplace
Worked at Burger Chef while in high school. Joined the Air Force 3 days after graduation. Just retired after 24 years.
