Life
Hi to anyone reading, anyone who remembers me! I am back in town in graduate school, getting an MFA in creative writing and enjoying spending time with my mom. What have I been doing for the past 17 years (God, that's half my life!)? Went into the Army which sent me to Germany. Went to college, earned a degree in journalism at UMass Amherst, went to work for CNN in Atlanta as a publicist, then moved to Boston where I worked as a PR executive at Weber Shandwick, then as an advocate for battered women, and finally as a writer/editor at Harvard University. ass and realized I really really wanted to write, so I quit my job and moved to Colombia for six months to write, live, reconnect with my roots. I came back and started graduate school at the New School and I am having a ball--great teachers, students, really a top-knotch program. On a personal level, my boyfriend and I own a big old colonial house in Haverhill, Massachusetts (north of Boston) which we are remodeling.
While in school, I'm sharing an apartment on Blvd. East in Weehawken. I go to the gym in WNY and am always hoping to see a familiar face, Where have all the Memorialites gone?
