Linda's Story
Life
I've been married for over 48 yrs. to the guy I married out of high school. We have 2 children, Bruce who is married and Teri who is also married. We have 4 grandkids, ranging from 20 years to 12 years of age. I've mostly been a stay-at-home Mom through the years. I was an Office Temp for 12 years. We have made 6 trips to Europe, thanks to my husband's career. I found my German family and got to know my German fourth-cousins in the first two trips. We satyed with them on the 3rd & traveled around the Swabian region with them on another. The third and fourth trips were to Ireland when Dennis was sent there on business. trip added The Netherlands to the countries we've been to. Since then we added Vienna & Slovakia I sang and played my flute at Church for many years, and have an active Church life. I love being Ninna (Grandma). The kids are such a joy. I like to read, watch TV, and be on the computer in addition to time with my Grandkids. I love to receive e-mail from friends....long lost ones and new ones. (pm on Facebook) I am 13 month out as a grateful kidney receiver and am doing well. Had a very scary 2022 summer with health. Lost my Dad while hospitalized & my Aunt (last of my Dad's siblings) just before Christmas. My 20 TR old grandson serves in the Army as a trainer. Am hoping for one more trip overseas & some US travel.
