Linda's Story

Linda (Lynn) attended East Leyden High School from 1962 to 1966. She married in 1966 and had one daughter named Teresa. She was divorced and then her x-husband died in 1985. Teresa is currently married with three children and is a Spanish teacher in a north suburban middle school. Lynn, who if you remember, didn't get very good grades in high school attended Triton College from 1970 to 1973 for exceptional child care and was on the president's or dean's list every semester. received a BA and MA in Human Development. Since 1976 she has worked in the social service or counseling fields. She has been in her own private counseling and consulting practice since 1983 and started Recovery Services Ltd. where she currently works in 1986. She located to McHenry County in Illinois in 1998. Working in the mental health field has been very challenging due to all the changes brought about by managed care, HMOs and now "Obama care". She currently continues to work and enjoy her three grandchildren who live close by.
