Linda's Story

I spent most of my adulthood in Arizona. I moved to Phoenix in 1969 after visting my mother and stepfather for Christmas. I knew that I never wanted to spend another winter in Maryland. Imagine swimming on Christmas Day. I left Phoenix in 1985 and moved to Cottonwood, AZ, where I met my current husband Monty. We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary in November with my first trip to Disneyland! I had a ball, although I wish I were a few years younger! eather and see the country. We have made many friends from all over America, and look forward to more adventures. October 2009 - Where does the time go? Have just arrived in Palm Springs for the winter. We have been trying to spend the winter here for the past 2 years, but only managed a few weeks, but this is the year. Love the weather, and even though it is in the middle of the desert, it is so green and the streets are lined with flowers. For golfers it is a paradise! I myself do not golf, but enjoy the beauty of golf courses. We also bought a new 5th wheel, much larger with 3 slide outs. I'm in heaven.
