Linda's Story
I was very shy and awkward in high school. I suppose that most of my peers would think of me as a nerd. My childhood was a hard one. I was the neglected one in a family of six. I was left on my own to try to figure out what this life was all about. Then I suffered a massive brain concussion that added to lives complication. However, all of that is not what or who I am now. I would like to think that I was remembered as the shy, intelligent little girl that just stayed to herself. I
After graduation, I moved to Salt Lake City Utah where I attended the L.D.S. Business School. After I graduated from there, I returned home and worked in a bank in Nyssa for a year. I then moved to Ogden, Ut. and worked for the Clearfield Job Corp in the Security Dept. for four years. I then met and married an Air Force man who was stationed in Germany.
I have moved fourteen times and besides Oregon, I have lived in, Utah, three bases in California, Germany, Hawaii, Kansas, and Texas. I have been to ...Expand for more
France, Korea, Okinawa, Guam, Switzerland, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Holland and across the United States. I am now an avid homebody.
I have three sons and two daughters. When my husband retired as a military officer he also retired from being a husband an left for unchartered territories while his family were away visiting friends in California. Being a divorcee agrees with me. I now enjoy life as a single gal. I live in my own little home and I am free to come and go as I choose and do all of the things that I want to do. I am employed by the U.S. Government. The love of my life is a 10 month old Shih tzu puppy named Snickers.
I enjoy my grandchildren, reading, movies, gardening, my puppy, and my friends. I love the Rocky Mountains that are at my doorstep and the changing scenery. We have the most beautiful sunsets. The most awesome one I have ever experienced was while on Antelope Island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake.
I would love to hear from any of my former classmates.
