Linda's Story
Graduated from good old Jefferson Davis High School in l964.
Got my first car for graduation - A white Dodge Dart.
Went to work for Sam Houston Memorial Hospital the same year I graduated as a switch board operator ($1.00 an hour and then got a .10 raise).
Then went to work for Southwestern Bell as a long distance operator. Worked there for about two years and just decided one day I didn't want to anymore th (that was really stupid!). So I quit.

r that just goofed off for a while and ten went to work at various other hospitals in Houston, Parkway, the Woman's Hospital, etc.
1984-I married and within one year had my one and only son. Divorced a couple of years later.
About 5 years later, I went to work for a school district in Houston and am still there after 22 years.
Looking forward to retirement in about 20 years. LOL
Just one question - when does the "gold" in Golden Years kick in??????
