Linda's Story
I still live in good old Pt. Huron, have two grown daughters,Robin,42,with 2 children,Ashley 21(whom has given me my first Great Grandaughter Kyree,2 and is expecting my second Great Grandchild-a boy),Trevor,17. Stacie,34, is my youngest daughter, mother to Steven,19, Lacee,17, Kelcee 15, and Kristee,13(whom we are raising).
Spend a few years just working general jobs(Department manager for K-Mart, then went back to School to become a Medical Transcriptionist for Mercy Hospital, was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer at 26,took a year off work(recovering from surgery and treatment) and returned back to work as a Manager of a local Party Store, Store closed, we...Expand for more
nt back to School, became a certified Mercury Marine Tech and worked for Port Huron Marine Service until I retired in 2008.
Married and divorced many times and now married for 11 years to a retired Merchant Marine whom sailed the Great Lakes for over 40 years(he was a childhood family friend).
Spend most days now, just keeping up with the grandkids(and now Great grandkids) and scrapbooking, and now taking care of my Veggie garden in the back yard. Have traveled all over the US, including living in Washington DC for 2 years (managed a 7-11 there) and always seemed to only "be at home" here in Port Huron, where I am lucky that all my kids and grandkids live.
