Linda's Story

Well, after graduating I went to Cabrillo College. In 1968 I amrried Ron Jolley. We had 1 child, Jopnathan Patrick Jolley, which is the love of my life. We are very close to this day (42yrs). I retired from Bank of America in 2003, Vice President, Manager of Aptos Office. I started in Watsonville, the old biulding across from Ford's. I then went to Santa Cruz, worked in Scotts Valley. I have 4 wonderful grandchildren...Kevin 17, Austin 14, Kristi 12 and Alicia 8. Ron passed away in 1997 from Colon Cancer.A very low pint in my life. Without my family and my dear friends life woiuld have been unbareable. After a wild night at Tampico's on Pacific Ave, I ended up on Match.com. (Thanks to my girlfriends). I met a wonderful man from Los Gatos. We have been together since 2000. When we came to visit his friends in Cody, Wyoming we both just fell in love with the area. We were home for a short time and decided California was over for us. We moved to Cody in 2003 and have never regreted it. Our biggest traffic jam is waiting for the buffalo to mov...Expand for more
e off the road. It's a small town 9,000 people. We are 50 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone, and we feel like we are on vacation every day of our life. I do miss my friends in California, but, they all know our home is always open to them. In June of this year, my mother came to live with us. It has been a major adjustment to us since she has some medical issues, but, I love her dearly and it's just something a child does for there parents! For anyone in the same position, you understand. My son has a hardwood lumber store in Couer d'Alene, Id and is doing quite well. Just almost tripled the sice of his store. 'TheHardwoodStoreCDL" is his new website. He is just starting it with more to come. I couldn't have hand picked a greater Daughter In Law (Tami). My youngest granddaughter has a nuro muscular disorder, which is a handful to the family, but, she is an angel and you just forget everything when you get those big hugs and kisses. Well that's my story in a nutshell. Hope to see everyone next September at the reunion (my first).
