Life Since graduating in 1967 I married my senior year sweetheart. We had 2 children, one of each, boy and girl, who gave me 3 wonderful grandsons ages 17, 13 and 12. I was a stay at home mom for 17 years before I started working on a parttime basis. One year later I bought my own screen-printing, embroidery and trophy business. I have been in business since 1986. I have had 5 employees at times but I am now making money with just 2 of us. Owning my own business was a challenge for someone who had not worked outside of the home in 17 years. It is amazing what you pay in self employment taxes, SAIF, and payroll. I live in a small city south of Portland. We have been here since 1976. I love to go on family vacations, visit with friends and family as often as possible and I love to travel. I have been lucky enough to travel with my husband Gary on many business trips.
