More about Linda:"I am a artist and I work in many mediums. My favorites are working with stained glass and water or oil painting. I belong to Resurrection Painters Art Guild. I have so many artistic projects I must hold back on wanting more as I have plenty to finish for a while. Especially when I get my health back. I had a para-thyroid & had surgery to remove it. My thyroid was full of cancer and had spread. I'm still in treatment. I have good days and bad days still. I do wood working and make 2 to 4 feet Lithuania Crosses that light up and incorporate stained glass in some. I have enough art stuff to do to last a long time. I am now retired from Cub/Boy Scouts as a volunteer for a decade. I volunteer for many different things. I am block captain, participate on the subdivision board at times for the play group long ago. Then I became CERT trained and was elected to be the leader. We should of had 2 minutes to make our plan for the firefighter tests, due to bad weather we had 30 seconds. We passed. I've been married for 23 years this August. We have three offspring (Laura is 21, Alan is close to 19, My baby, Mark, tow...Expand for more
ers over me, just turned 17) Actually all the offspring towers over us and I am 6.2.2/3 and Vic is 6.3. I served 11 years in the military. Homemaker but never a dull moment, time flies by. Not time for grandchildren yet but am looking forward to holding infants again, when God directs the kids to their spouse to be and marry. The kids think we are weird, I sorta think they are the odd ones. They think they discovered the Beetles and rock and roll, Jazz, bell bottoms, 5 inch shoes, they are so very wrong, our generation created that right? Who make the gadgets for them to use? I admit, I call on their help at times as the computers I worked on years ago in the 80's are different, so different now. I cook until it gets hot, then I stay in the AC or I get grumpy. Not sure how I did it in the Army without AC. Youth, now I get youth wasted on the young. But I could not chase a toddler around these days. I pray a lot. I should read the bible more. I bought the bible on CD with actors portraying the characters which is scripture, but the narrator which is not scripture explains then and now. That is very helpful to understand the bible better. I went 6 of the 7 years if a great but difficult bible class. I got kicked out.......I was in the hospital too much and you were only allowed to miss 3 days of the school year. Lots of homework. But I learned much. I am sad I have lost friends to the world but I continue to pray for them. I ask forgiveness for feeling betrayed. But Jesus says this happens, He would know. I look forward to the Rapture, no pain, no tears. What a joy.".
