Linda Shelton:  

Linda is from Enka, North Carolina. She is married Terry Shelton. Her schools include Enka High School. She later attended Gardner=Webb University (B.S. Health and Physical Education, General Science). She received a Masters at Furman University. Then went on to get her license in Administration and Supervision at George Washington University, She has taught school in Greenville, SC, Virginia Beach, Va, Fort Mill, SC and retired from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in 2017. She is enjoying her retirement while playing golf and tennis and traveling. I have two wonderful sons, both athletes and good students. Kyle, born 1986 spent 5 years in the minors playing for the Chicago White Sox making it all the way to triple A. Cody, born 1991, is attending UNC Charlotte. He transferred to UNCC after attending Wingate University on a baseball scholarship and then transferred to Northwest Florida State Jr. College and played for one season before going to UNC Charlotte. He had shoulder surgery and could not return to baseball after that.
