I HAVE A SIAMESE CAT NAMED CINDI THAT I RESCUED FROM THE HUMANE SOCIETY 10 1/2
YEARS AGO. SHE IS A TYPICAL QUEEN OF THE ROOST CAT!! BUT SHE DOES PLAY FETCH--WHEN SHE FEELS LIKE IT OF COURSE.

WE HAVE THREE.
ALL ARE GREAT KIDS-OF COURSE-AND DOING WELL. WE HAVE FOUR GRANDCHILDREN AGES 8-20.
My Job
I AM A DOG GROOMER. IT IS VERY REWARDING BUT ALSO VERY STRESSFUL AT TIMES AND CAN ALSO BE DANGEROUS. I HAVE BEEN BIT A FEW TIMES.
My husband is now retired, I'm not ready yet since I didn't start working til '95. I enjoy having my own money and being out in the public. I like having something to keep me going every day.
A little update....when I turned 60 in 2007, I wanted to take a road trip. My daughter decided she wanted to go with me. We had the best 3 weeks of our lives!! We went west as far as Yellowstone, down to Las Vegas and on down to Phoenix where my son lives. Came home across I-40 and the old Route 66. Had so much fun we did it again the next year. to N.Carolina...did some NASCAR sightseeing. I'm an Earnhardt fan so had to go to Mooresville. Took a tour of Charlotte Motorspeed Way, literally, on the track. Great fun. Visited Charleston and Savannah. Also did Graceland on the way home. That year while on our trip my granddaughter gave birth to my great-granddaughter!! That made the 5th generation. She is 3 now and the light of everyone's eye. The next year my Dad passed away at that time so we didn't go. But we went last year.....all the way to Seattle, WA. Down the coast to San Francisco. I love that town!! Went to Phoenix again and back home. This year we are going really late...weekend after Thanksgiving til Dec. 10. My Mom wants to go to FL for 3 mos. so we are leading her down and will go back end of Feb. to lead her back home. We plan on seeing Louisiana, Mississippi and whatever else we can squeeze in. We don't make any definite plans, just drive, stop where we want. It is so much fun and we really look forward to it. I am still working so it's a nice way to get a break.
