Linda's Story
I have very fond memories of Pittman Square, Riley (for 6th grade due to gerrymandering) and Lew Wallace. I would love to hear from those who went to school with me. I was one of those kids who loved school and all the activities.
I am married to Tom Davies, Hammond High grad from 1961. June 8, 2009 we celebrated 35 years. We have three children, Jim, Kim and Ron and seven grandchildren.
Our first home was in Hammond then Dyer and then on to St. John. We moved to Fishers about 8 years ago and love the Indianapolis area. Four of our grandchildren are close, one in Fishers and three in Greenwood. The other three grandchildren are in Scottsdale, AZ.
We are active in the Noblesville First United Methodist church and go on mission trips. I stay in the states due to allergies and Tom has gone to Costa Rica, Haiti and Belize as well as the mold infested flood areas of Katrina in both Louisiana a...Expand for more
nd Mississippi and the flooded areas of Evansville and Columbus, IN.
We are both retired, Tom formerly an electrician and myself formerly a financial planner/insurance agent.
I have always enjoyed volunteer work. I love to organize the big projects. Myself along with a team of excellent volunteers work on a rummage sale each July, 2009 we raised $7,000 for missions and a chili supper/auction each January to raise money for missions and mission scholarships.
The latest project I am involved with was bringing Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University to our church in February 2009. Our next class begins August 6.
If you have not guessed it by now, I am a Christian.
God Bless and looking forward to hearing from you.

I always wanted to be a Majorette when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I like to sew.
