Linda's Story
Since high school I have traveled all over the East coast. I lived in the North Carolina, Atlantic Beach area, for 5 years and have a deep desire to go back.
I married a man from Arkansas and we had 4 children (2 boys,2 girls). We divorced in 1986 and I have been single every since.
I started college after the divorce and accomplished achieveing my docorate degree in Psychology while going through puberty, adolescence, and the change of life. Was not sure if the children were going to make it.
I have to give props to high school, I would not of become the person I am today without all the aspirations that were given by my fellow classmates. I can honestly say that I have accomplished a lot since high school.
I am currently working as a data tec at Seagate Technology International, in Oklahoma City and waitting for retirement. I plan to travel both in the USA and overseas. My goal is to take all my grandchildren at once to Disneyland without their parents..
I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns ...Expand for more
out, they were right I am a better counselor of the mind. LOL . But I still have my minor in criminal justice.
I clean house to blow off steam. If it is really bad I clean the refrigerator. But when I want to relax I go outside in the backyard, with a nice drink of my choice, turn the radio on to 92.4 and listen to oldies and sing a long with them.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Linda Abernathy, because she was my first and best friend in high school. We did a lot of things together and she knows a lot of my secrets..
I love football. I like NFL more than college. Soccer is my next love. Only National soccer the colleges do not play as well. I hate reality TV. Really, we can not find anything better to have on TV. I like to do crafts, such as pottery, scrapbooking, cake decorating, sewing, kids arts and craft projects. Some times my ideas get a little bit carried away and I have tohave my peers bring me back to normal. I enjoy buying gifts for people, expecially if I find something they like. The joy in their faces is worth the price I paid.
