Linda's Story
Right after I graduated I went into the US Army for about 8 years active duty. I was stationed over seas for four of those years and spent the rest at Fort Bragg, NC. I came back home to Maryland and joined the Maryland Army National Guard for nine years and decided I had enough. When I came back to Maryland I got a job in the Postal Service where I am still employed as a Postmaster. I have two children my son Joshua who is 21 and my daughter Jasmine who is 20 and in college in the dentistry field. I was married for six years and happily divorced in 1993. Today I reside in the Lusby area with a wonderful boyfriend and our two Yorkies Prissy who is seven and Birdie who is one.
I always wanted to be a comedian when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My relaxation is sitting in front of the TV by myself and watching a funny movie.

The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mr Cole, because he was the best gym teacher ever.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the garage and add on a rec room. My dream home would be on the water.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to the church, then spend the rest on my family, community and vacations.
My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be over the hill. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm a natural comedian, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy.
I share my home with my love, which I find a blessing.
In 10 years, I hope to be working in my field of study. I'm going to get there by finishing my BA degree.
My first job was at Fort Clayton, Panama, where I got paid chump change to work my ass off. What I remember most about it is the beautiful beaches.
