Linda's Story
Linda, originally from Montreal, moving to Fredericton in 1963 and then finally settling in SaintJohn in 1964. Linda is married to Paul Dupuis. Linda's schools include Westmount Junior High, Fredericton High, Saint John Vocational School.. Linda later attended UNB Saint John (Adult education), UNB Fredericton (Adult education). Linda, after graduation, became a legal secretary for Henry Marquis, a journalist/typesetter for Kennebecasis Valley Post/Sussex Valley Register, National Office Administrator of Laubach Literacy Canada, Instructor at New Brunswick Community College andJohn Howard Society and is presently a semi-retired owner-Operator of Cherished Pet Memorial Services, Summerville, New Brunswick My children are now running the business and doing a great job but this " mama" still has a say when need be.
Music - Linda likes everything except opera.
Books - Linda likes biographies and mysteries.
Musical instruments - Linda loves SeaWind Musical Instruments, acoustic guitars, drums and pan flutes.
TV shows - Linda likes anything with mystery, Survivor, Dragons' Den and Coronation Street.

Hubby and I eloped shortly after graduating. We have 3 children and 5 grandkids. All of them of which I am very proud of. I am very blessed to have very caring, loving, and hardworking children and grandchildren.
I have had many interesting life experiences including being in a bank while it was being robbed and being a key witness in a murder trial. And that was just two of many unique situations that I have found myself in.
It seems if there is trouble to be found, I find it whether I want to or not.
I have been fortunate enough to do a bit of travelling over the years and have met many fine, interesting people in those travels.
I have also spent many years volunteering for various organizations and loved every moment of it.
There are still many things I have yet to discover and do - everything, except jumping out of a plane or visiting a country with lots of snakes! I love all creatures but snakes scare the bejeebers out of me!
My life is full of fun, family, friendships, and have faced many challenges as well (haven't we all?). But I am still on the right side of the ground and as long as I am I plan to continue to keep doing, discovering and meeting new friends and opportunities with joyful anticipation.
