Linda's Story
Life
Hi everybody!!! Upon graduating from Bonita I went straight to UCSD and got a BA in Physiology. Then I fulfilled some crazy fantasy about living in LA by moving there and falling in love with my wonderful husband. During those years of love and travel I obtained my nursing degree from USC and began work at UCLA in critical care specializing in Liver Transplant. I then moved on to Labor and Delivery and went back and obtained my Master's of Science in Nursing at UCLA to become a midwife. ...Expand for more
I now deliver babies and I love it!! I deliver at the hospital and at people's homes. Homebirth is the best and my first love. Our homebirth service has been on TLC, The Baby Story. I had my second baby at home 2 years ago and it was wonderful. So now I spend my time being a mommy to two wonderful little girls and delivering babies part-time. My husband and I are constantly remodeling our home and dreaming of where we are going to travel next. Would love to hear from any of the class of 1979.
