Linda's Story
Life
I moved back to Rapid in 2006 to be closer to my family. The city has gone through alot of changes since I lived here last. I'm loving the short commutes and their rush hour traffic....especially after driving in Seattles traffic. I enjoy going back out to Washington to see my Son and Daughter and Grandkids. I have 4 Grandsons and 3 Great Grandkids.....wow and only one girl out of the bunch. ha Life is good.
Workplace
Most of my work ...Expand for more
has been building airplane parts. I've spent about 12 years in that field. I enjoy working with my hands and seeing a finished product so this line of work has been great. Plus the friendship of many co workers through out the years has been a life saver when you need moral support or just a shoulder to lean on. Most of us are currently layed off because of 9-11 but still keep in touch. So now its on to another adventure in the game of life.
