Linda's Story
Life
I went to Gwinn HS in Michigan my freshman and sophomore years, 63-65. Then went to Okinawa, attended Kubasaki HS junior and senior years, 65-67. Lived on base at Kadena. After graduation moved back to Michigan, and I got married 2 years later. We moved to Chicago and lived there for 20 years. I have 4 children: Ron 31, a financial planner; Jodi 29,a dietitian; Mark & Rick 27 year old twins, Mark is in the Army in Oklahoma; and Rick is a manager at Starbuck's in downtown Chicago, where he lives. nd has two sons, Edwin 36, and Sean 35. Edwin and his wife gave us our first grandchildren in Aug. 2000; twin girls, Morgan and Paige.
I am a Registered Nurse, and have worked mainly in Oncology (cancer care). We've lived in St. Louis 15 years. My husband Ed, is a lobbyist. We get to meet lots of politicians, governors and senators mostly; and we attended President Bush's Inauguration last year.
All together I have moved 34 times. People think that's strange, and they still don't get it when I tell them I'm an AIR FORCE BRAT!
