Linda's Story
Fauquier High School Grad. 1973. Attended UVA. Worked at Fauquier Hospital in the 70's. 1979 worked for Countryside Family Practice where I am still working at present. I am the Practice Adminstrator and have a full life.Busy at work and married to the most wonderful man in the world. I have one great son- age 32. No daughter-in-law or grandchildren yet. He is busy with education and career. My husband is retired from the government, but could not stay at home. He is now a Fauquier County School Bus Driver. He may be driving some of your grandchildren or ???? children. Life has been great for me. We all have our moments of dispair but as a Christian- God has been good. I attend The Bridge Community Church- Highland School- in Warrenton. Great Church- check it out. Would love to see you. My only regret is that I have never been able to maintin my weight. e- but I need to lose. My husband is great and loves me just the way he met me. I was heavy thru school. I do not believe I knew a lot of you closely during high school. Being overweight- you stayed to yourself- it did do me one great thing. I concentrated on my education. I have never attended a reuion- maybe one day.
I do remember serveral of you fondly. I believe our class (even all the 70's stuff we went thru) turned out well. When I hire employees (younger generation) they are a different world. We went to work on time. Worked hard, Stayed off the phone (we did not have cells then) , but did our jobs and did not call in sick with a headache. I believe we were taught great work ethics. From our parents to the school. I hope to keep working for another 20 years. I enjoy what I do. Would like to catch up with some of my old friends. I still live in Warrenton. Never been up for much adventure.
