My Pets
17-year-old Shepherd/Chow mix named Joxer - he was a stray who came in and took over the household. High maintenance but worth every minute! Still enjoying our regular early morning walks and his BIG grassy yard.
My Job
I'm an Intellectual Property paralegal for one of the top law firms in Omaha. The work is fascinating and timely, and I love my job. I also work in the Thomas D. Mangelsen Images of Nature gallery in Omaha's Old Market district. As a serious photographer, I was a fan of Tom's work long before moving to Omaha, and now it thrills me to help people bring Tom's work int...Expand for more

My Life
Moving to the Midwest (for the first time) in 2005 after over 30 years in Tucson was a big change, but it has been a good experience (except that I really miss mountains and being less than a day's drive from the ocean). I was able to help Omaha open their very first dogpark shortly after moving here (after nine years of dogpark experience in Tucson). I also do photography when I have time and have won several awards, including a misty Grand Canyon shot on the cover of my Arizona firm's 2002 Holiday card.
