Linda's Story
this was written back in 2004 -
Hi!
I can't believe it has been 30+ years since MacArthur High School days. I was back in Texas a couple months ago on business and Linda Hughes aka Armstrong and I did a whirlwind tour of Irving that shocked me. I couldn't believe the growth and at the same time couldn't believe how old everything looked. We even peered into the windows at TJ Lee Elementary School thinking we were looking at Earl W. Peeler's room from the 6th grade.
I have had a great life since leaving Texas in 1970 for Ohio, which was my family's home. Managed to fit in several years of college and a lot of life experience.

looked back.
I worked for a couple of nonprofit health organizations in the late 70's and early 80's doing community relations and fundraising before going to the State Medicaid agency where I ended up as a public information officer. That lasted 13 years before I went to a Medicaid HMO for three years and have now been with a private company since January as a Director of Government Relations. Lots of travel and soothing words...
My family is my great joy. We have wonderful children who have grown into terrific people. Combined with a variety of dogs and cats, we have a busy household.
Life is good - hope yours is too. Would love to hear from any of my former classmates, especially Sharon McGuire.
