I have had an interesting life. I have lived in Old Mexico for 2 years, Tulsa, Oklahoma for 4yrs, Louisiana for 3 yrs, Wisconsin for 4 years and Omaha all the rest of the time. I can¿t say that I loved one place better than another, because they all have their pluses and minuses, but I must say it is good being around my grandchildren in Omaha! They light up my life. I am single, hence the maiden name. I¿ve worked full time at Brownell-Talbot Preparatory School for the past almost 4 years. I am also a spa coordinator at Omaha Life Spa in tLife Time Fitness. So I stay busy. I am still involved with singing. I have sung the National Anthem for the Royals, the Knights, the Mavs, the Beef, the Golden Globes, the Crusaders (our school), and for special events. I am on sabbatical from the Omaha Symphonic Chorus. I had a major vocal cord problem this past winter that caused me to be without a voice for 2 months! Some may say that was a good thing (no voice...can't talk), but I was a bit concerned. It¿s been a long road of recovery but I¿m getting there. I am still around the theater as well. I am involved at Brownell helping with the productions. I help with auditions, vocalists, makeup, hair, staging, just all around helping the producer and director with anything they need. I love it.
