Linda's Story
HI go to=(myspace) After high school I worked full time, bought a car and other things. In 1967 I married a Marine from Oklahoma, and in 1968 we moved back to Ok. where we both went to work for what was then Western Electric,( they changed the name to Lucent Technologies and again to Celestica) We were Electronic Technition's, working on the telephone frames that go in the phone offices. Our company closed the doors in 2003 and after 34 Years of service we had to retire, ( OH DARN LOL).
My husband and I both coached Little League Soccer for our kids for many years. Gary coached our younger daughter to a state championship. I also played Soccer both indoor and outdoor. Coached by my brother Dan Gaines...Expand for more
. (I loved it.) After we had enough, of being envolved in all sports and the kids were envolved in other things we retired from coaching.
We then took time for ourselves and traveled to different parts of the United States on Motorcycle and by Corvette. The last time I was in Calif. was 2001 when we drove our 1968 Corvette,with the HotRod power tour to San Bernardino,over to the coast and up Hwy 1 and back home.
We have lived in Yukon, since coming back to Oklahoma. We built a new home here in 2006 and are enjoying every minute that life has to offer.
