Linda's Story

Life I was married Randy Say who passed away in 1986. I won a contest and received full tuitition to become a cosmotologist (hairdresser) in 1971. I did that for 11 years, then took business classes at FPC and went to work at a local law firm where I continued to work for 16 years. I am now employed by a government contractor. I re-married in 1987 to a Pampa alum, but am now happily single. I raised my son, Scott, in Borger. Yes, folks, I'm still here. Can you believe it? Scott went to Texas Tech and graduated from law school there. He is now the Assistant D.A. in Lamb County and is married to a lawyer. I am the proud grandmother of 3 beautiful granddaughters, Scott's two and ...Expand for more
a new addition thanks to his re-marriage. Ask me how wonderful they are, but reserve at least several hours for a reply. (Having grandchildren is the best thing that I have ever done!) I took oil painting classes under the tutelage of Betty Adams and Jo Willerton at Borger Creative Arts for 4 years and love to paint then took private lessons from Harold Scott and LaNelle Poling. I also love working with stained glass. I will have to say that the most important thing that I have done since leaving high school was to re-dedicate my life to Christ. I do solos regularly for my church and enjoy singing in my church choir. I would love to hear from any of you who might read this!
