Linda's Story

I was Linda Gustafson, now Linda Scott. After MHS, I went to Indiana University of PA for math education. Tried student teaching at Penn Hills, but realized it was not for me. They offered and I accepted a job as a high school math teacher. Quickly found another job at Westinghouse Tele-Computer Center. Also went to grad school at Pitt for my MS in Computer Science. Worked at Carnegie Mellon as head of Administrative Systems Dept. Got married to Ray and had daughter Wendy. Did. Volunteer work at hospitals and library. o health reasons last year. Read a lot of mysteries and dog books. Have collie-Shepherd mix, Jesse who is 13. Live in Penn Hills. Want to hear from the MHS crowd! Did all Christmas shopping online, so I am done, but still have to wrap. I am terrible at wrapping! Going tomorrow to get my daughter a love seat at IKEA.. Doing my back and leg exercises so I can maybe walk into the reunion. I am definitely going! Hope to see u there! I put in death notices in Diane James album. These were for Denny Day and Timmy Goines. In 2022 I have started volunteering at a different library. I love books and libraries!
