Linda Williams:  

After Graduation I attended Chaffey Jr. College for a year and then married Robbie Williams in October 1974. We immediately moved to Fort Hood, TX, Robbie's first duty station in the Army. I spent 22 years as an Army wife; we went to Garlstedt, Germany (where my two boys were born), back to Fort Hood, back to Germany, to Fort Lewis, WA, and then retired back at Fort Hood. In between I started working for the U.S. Government, serving in several capacities during the several moves. I now work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, doing administrative work; I should be able to retire in 5 more years when we have paid off the mortgage on the house we built. We now live out in the country, about 25 minutes from Temple, TX, 25 minutes from Waco, TX, and 25 minutes from Gatesville, TX. I always thought of myself as a city girl, but now I only want to live out in the country.
