Linda's Story
Whoa, 1968 seems forever ago! I still have many fond memories of Vernon and all of my friends. I married Walter Heard in 1970 and we lived in Lubbock for 15 years before we moved to San Antonio. We love it here! We have one daughter, Catherine (34) and one son, Logan (28). My daughter has 3 children that includes a set of 5 year old twins. Their brother is 8 and all 3 keep me running. niche 4 years ago after the typical "hate my job" stint. I finally get to express my art in a way that I had been searching for even though I guess you could call it "disposable" art! I enjoy great pleasure in seeing thrilled customers and never turn down a challenge (including a cake that resembled a land mine!). So there it is, a short story of my life after Vernon. I wish the best to all of you, my old friends that are still in my heart and on my mind.
