Linda's Story
9/2009 - I married my high school sweetheart at the beginning of my senior year, so we are about to celebrate our 38th anniversary. After graduation I went to Iceland where Fred (my husband) was stationed with the Navy. Our oldest child, a daughter, was born there in May of 1973. our family while we were in Virginia. We bought a house on LI and lived there until 1984 when Fred became a New York State Trooper and we moved up to the Hudson Valley. Our second son was born that year. Fred retired from the state police two years ago after a 24 year career. I still work for the state police as a secretary. We have five grandchildren, two boys and three girls, that grandma loves to spoil.
