Linda's Story

Life Moved Senior yr. from Mullens to Princeton. Married 1968 had 1 dtr., Stephanie(1971), divorced 1976. Remarried, 1977 moved to Greensboro, N.C. Graduated from Univ. S.C., Columbia, S.C. in Nursing. Moved to Chattanooga, TN 1986. Divorced 1991 and am currently married to a Cardiologist. Head Nurse on Cardiac Unit for 15 years, office nurse for 5 years. Have 4 grandchildren...Madison 7, adopted from Siberia by my step-daughter. Janghyun 11, S. Korean, step-son of my step-son. Connor, 4 1/2, son of my dtr. who married an Olympic athlete, now living in Cincinnati area and Kendall their dtr who was 1 yr, in Dec. I have been retired for 4 years. I highly recommend it!!! We love camping (RV) and traveling out of the country. I would rather read than do anything else, but have lots of hobbies. I oil paint, do watercolors, sew, love to scrapbook, love music, movies, theater. Have always wanted to play piano and have taken lessons for 3 years.I have 2 cats and a cocker spaniel. ...Expand for more
Enjoy being out of doors...feed deer in my yard daily. Active in Missions at my church, United Methodist, and have made 3 trips to Miss. for Katrina Response.... construction..not medical. Usually do one mission trip per year, since 1994... Navaho Reservation, New Mexico, Miss., Ky.,N.C., Va....Very rewarding. Am a 15 year Cancer survivor in April and am blessed with each day. My parents are still living and in fairly good health. My brother. Ed, lives a few miles from me and Rick lives in Fl. We have always been very close and try to have a "Sibling-Fest" annually. I travel to Mullens and Princeton a couple of times a year. I have relatives in Princeton and visit with my old high School boyfriend, Ronnie Johnson, and his terrific wife, Kim. Would love to hear from Susan Kelly, Billie Repass Maddy, and Linda Butler Sisk, Shirley Semones, and Martha Musser, Mickey Mitchell, Mike Workman, Vincent Shumate, Curtis England, Leonard England and many others.
