Linda's Story
I lived on 108th Avenue and 160th Street. I have 2 brothers and a sister. I worked in Vancouver, Vernon, Abbotsford and Agassiz. My career finally got going as a Personnel Officer for Corrections Canada. I worked there for 17 years. Was able to retire early when I met my hubby in 1989. We travelled a lot and eventually made a winter home in Yuma Arizona. My hubby passed on in 2011 and now I spend my time between Penticton and Yuma. I have never had children, except the four-legged kind. I spend my time in the south, swimming, walking in the desert with friends, and...Expand for more
playing pool. My hubby used to say it was a sign of a mis-spent youth!!! I play in the senior's games every year since 2010 and have been fairly successful at it. Life is good!!!
New era, Moved to Kelowna in July 2015. Have lost all my four-legged friends now and now starting to kick start my life. Moving is a wretched thing for a single person. But I will be settled in soon and probably just in time to head to Arizona again and start all over again. I have sold my house there as well and moving into a condo. No more yard work and no more maintenance. Just FUN!!!!
