Linda's Story
As you may recall, I was shy in high school. It took me 6 years to get my BA from PSU. I wasn't focused, tho I did well. When I finally got a "real" job in 1977, I hired on at the Post Office and became "lovely Linda, lady letter carrier". My college degree, and my typing speed (believe it or not), got me my first position in management and I rapidly advanced up the promotion ladder. land and got a transfer to a sweet little techy nerd job that included teaching and travel and I lived out the last 15 years at the post office in that position.
I have been retired for two year. I live in Tigard, volunteer at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, and have two little businesses doing estate sales and making and selling jewelry. I also put on craft bazaars, volunteer in my community, and help my Mom.
My hobbies are travel, gardening, walking, kayaking, rock hounding, and camping. I am single and have 2 kitties.
