Linda's Story
Life
After graduation I went into the Army. I completed Basic Training from Alabama and headed to Texas. My first oversees assignment was Wurzburg, Germany. I was stationed there twice with the second tour taking me to Stuttgart. When I returned to the US I went back to Texas, out to California and back to Texas again where I completed my BSN at Uncle Sam's expense. I retired in 1997 with an Honorable Discharge. I have one son that is on his own and a dog.
I currently do agency work in the local hospitals. I am able to work 3 days a week and enjoy the rest of the week off. It's wonderful when you do agency work rather than be staff. This way I work where, when and with whom I like.
