Linda's Story
After several tries at marriage (I don't attend class reunions any more because I'm a shoe-in for "most often married"), I've been very happily married for the last 22 years. My son, Rick Prayer, has become a wonderful man of whom I am very proud. He's kind, considerate, smart, and successful. My husband Jack is in the investment business, but the important thing is, he's still my knight in shining armour after all these years. He is also the most intelligent and kind man I ever met. I share his daughter Betsy, who is lovely, kind, happily married, and may hopefully make me a grandmother some day.

My career has been in mortgages, private banking, and the investment business since 1976. I never got around to completing a degree, but I attended Bryn Mawr and University of Pennsylvania as an adult - perhaps someday I'll finish. I hate numbers and never really cared for math, but it's allowed me to overcome not having a degree, so I guess I'm grateful. I have come to terms that I will never write the great American novel, but life has been pretty wonderful in spite of that fact.
If the organizers of the reunion stop awarding the "most often married" prize, perhaps I'll attend a reunion sometime!
