Mounds View High School was a special time in life for many of us and for most of us the excitement & life challenges continue. I cherish the memories I have from those 'carefree' days. It is surprising that we can talk about those school days as if it was yesterday & time has literally stopped. Seeing the profiles of the other graduates is great & positive proof that "Life Goes On" indeed!! ~smile & wink~ I survived a car accident in 1984, and was hospitalized and in a coma for over 4 months. When I awoke I had no memory of my life: I had literally "survived my own death." Recovery was the "Ultimate challenge" and I knew that I was the only one who could learn to become that healthy woman again. Due to "Brain Injuries" I literally could not "put-one-foot-in-front-of-the-other." It's like a 'bad joke," but I learned to use a wheelchair for mobility. I am not paralyzed & I can still drive my Van using my right foot and leg like most people do!...Expand for more
