Linda's Story
I met my husband, Rod, while I was in my senior year at Fairfax and we married the next year. He graduated from Hamilton in 63. We've been married now for 53 years. We moved to Northern CA when our oldest son was 10 months old. My husband got a job in San Francisco in 73 and we've been in the Bay Area ever since. We first lived in a small town called Pacifica, which is right on the ocean. We currently live in the wine country, once again, in a small town called Petaluma. We have 2 sons and one daughter. Our oldest son lives in Napa with his wife and daughter our Daughter lives here in Petaluma with her husband and 3 children and our youngest son lives in Hawaii with his wife and 3 children.

oving it. I currently run a non-profit gift shop and do other volunteer work as well which keeps me busy. My husband volunteers at a local health clinic. I had been in the dental field for 28 plus years until my first retirement then I worked in the Library at our local Junior High. We are enjoying the freedom that being retired gives you, the freedom to travel (Ireland and England last year), the freedom to give back to our community that we truly love. Petaluma is 40 miles North of the Golden Gate Bridge and has a river that runs through it. I still make it down to LA at least once a year to visit with my family that still lives in and around LA, but now I don't go down by myself I usually have the grandchildren in tow.
