Linda's Story

I am an avid reader, and started a book club in Apr./99, which I am still involved with today. Flower gardening is something I really enjoy doing. I also love travelling, and have been on a few cruises to Alaska and one to the Bahamas/Caribbean area (this one with Crystal Cruises). Some beautiful places I have visited are Stockholm and the Lakeside district in England where Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth were born. en we will be close to a lot of the splendour of the Rockies. I teach English as a second language, and from app. the end of Sept. to mid-June, I teach two classes a week to primarily Phillipino or Mexican students. We sometimes have Chilean, Brazilian, Paraguayan, Japanese, Chinese and German students as well. In Wetaskiwin, though, we now have many Philippine workers at our two Tim Hortons stores, and a good number at Supreme International, a manufacturing company. For now, I still work part-time as a front desk agent at a hotel in Nisku, and I find it quite interesting to interact with people from all around the world and find out about beautiful places to travel to. My daughters are still having the time of their lives and aren't quite ready to settle down. Gord and I enjoy our place outside of Wetaskiwin and our good neighbours. Linda
