Linda's Story
Life
I married in 1969, had one son and went to college on the 13 year plan. After a 30+ year marriage, thru Classmates, I was reacquainted with my high school boyfriend (a Taft grad) and we were married in a beautiful garden ceremony at my best friend's home in 2001. It was the wedding that should have been 33 years before, had I not gotten cold feet!
I relocated from the San Fernando Valley to Phoenix, Arizona, where he lives. We share our home with our three irish setters, and visit our kids and grandkids (in Georgia and Florida) as often as possible.
I was a CFO in Healthcare Finance, but now own my own company doing business and personal accounting.. I have semi retired, but still keep busy.
Besides our kids and dogs, my hobbies are quilting...Expand for more
, cooking, gardening, reading, long walks, and hanging out with friends. Hubby is retired Air Force, working now for the Department of Defense. He makes incredible model airplanes. We're enjoying our life and making up for lost time, usually in our 67 Mustang. After 50 years of living in the SFV I love living in the desert. I am very thankful that I have a good life.
An update, Arnie passed away April 2014. I know many of y o u knew him well. We had a great 14 years together. We have five beautiful grandchildren, and that, and working with dog breed rescue (along with four dogs) get me up in the morning!

Update. I retired in 2017 and in 2018 the dogs and I moved to Central Florida, near my son and his family. Enjoying this path.
