Biggest Surprise in Life
I expected to settle down in Arkansas and have oodles of kids and grandkids with a spouse, of course. I am far far away in Central Oregon and my kids are cats, dogs, and a horse. After Arkansas, I lived in Dal...Expand for more

A Do-Over
I would made a different career choice: I would have stayed with the Federal Government (my first job) and a few years ago I could have retired with ample income and a federal pension instead of waiting for a small social secuity check someday, maybe.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have autonomy, creativity, and flexibiity to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a small elevator. My dream home would be a sprawling southwestern ranch style home with a courtyard.
If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to the bank to pay off loans, then spend the rest on funding a secrure retirement, a dream home and charitible causes such as Animal Rescue.
Lived in dorms in college back when they were NOT coed, locked the doors and insured you were quiet and in your room. Joined ZTA.
In 10 years, I hope to be healthy and active. I'm going to get there by taking care of myself alsong the way.
