Linda's Story
After graduating from EHS (as Linda Price) in 1973, I took a smattering of college courses trying to decide what I really wanted to do. I eventually attended EPCC, where I also worked for almost 10 years. During the course of my employment, I earned two associate degrees. In 1987, I relocated to Austin, TX, where I soon found myself working in the high-tech industry as a contracts manager for AMD. That's where I met the love of my life, Scott, although it was more than a few years before we realized we were meant for each other.
After leaving AMD, I worked as an administrative manager, project officer, and international trainer. Eventually, I settled into doing technical writing, instructional design, and training.
Scott and I married in 1999. We again worked together at Intrinsity, Inc., where he was a co-founder.

agement, in 2005, I started my own business, Pixels & Verbs, to provide contract services in my chosen fields. Happily, I've never had to advertise as all my business comes to me via word-of-mouth through my wonderful network of friends, former co-workers, etc.
In 2007, Scott and I were introduced to competition robotics when he was asked if he would mentor a team at Westlake High School in Austin. Now, we spend the majority of our free time working with an ever-growing number of amazing kids, mostly at Westlake High School. In 2010, I founded a nonprofit organization to help support this expanding program; I still sit on its board of directors.
Scott and I also like to travel. Mostly we visit family, but this includes visits to Toronto, Seattle, Portland, and also to England and Scotland. Scotland is probably our favorite place to visit.
