Linda Herr:  

After high school, I worked at Sears Mondawmin in the Baltimore executive office as secretary to the director of advertising for four years. That was a fun job learning to write copy, radio commercials and paste ups. For over 25 years, I have worked in higher education starting with Loyola College in 1969-1973 as secretary to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions; College of Notre Dame of Maryland 1989-2004 as Assistant to the Director of Graduate Studies; and returned to Loyola University in 2005. Currently Program Assistant in the Writing Department. I married my husband, John, in 1972. We celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary on April 2. We have two daughters, Julianne and Heidi and two grandsons. Last year we adopted a shelter puppy, Miss Dixie Belle. She is keeping us on our toes! I pursued my undergraduate degree in Communication Arts while I was a stay at home mom. Attended the Weekend College at the College of Notre Dame taking one course a semester.
